Most of us get disrupted while sleeping at night.

The best tip to stop snoring is to get good quality sleep.

You should have regular sleeping times and have undisturbed sleep as much as possible. Also note that the majority of people who snore sleep on their backs.

Try not to consume alcohol before you sleep because alcohol tends to make you snore more.

The Basic Facts Of Ewing Sarcoma.

Ewing’s Sarcoma is one of three different kinds’ cases of bone cancer. It rarely is diagnosed or contracted past the age of thirty years old.

Pain radiating from the limbs can be one of the first indicators on bone cancer, especially Ewing’s Sarcoma. Elevated LDH levels as well as weight loss and anemia also accompany the symptoms of Ewing’s Sarcoma.

Generally, a surgery is performed to remove the cancerous tumor. If the tumor is extremely large, amputation may be a necessity in order to keep the cancer from spreading elsewhere. Ewing’s Sarcoma is the most lethal and the second most common cancerous or malignant tumor found in a young cancer patient. If the cancer has metastasized, the long term survival rate plummets to around 10%-20%.

Our body is comprised of 206 bones. The sudden and fast improper growth of cells in the bones results in the bone cancer.

The bone cancer can be identified with the help of CT scan and MRI scans.
During surgery, the whole tumor part is removed completely. If the remains of the cancer are traced then amputations are used to cure the bone cancer.
Also radiation therapy is preferred.

The x- ray radiations exposed into the body kill the cancer cells.

Swine Flu Facts.

Swine influenza - Swine influenza or swine flu is a respiratory disease in pigs caused by the type A H1N1 swine influenza virus (SIV). Humans in close proximity to swine could contract swine influenza if the swine are carrying the rare strain of the SIV that is capable of affecting humans.

Symptoms - Swine flu symptoms in humans are generally similar to regular flu (influenza) symptoms and include muscle pain, runny nose, sore throat, cough, headache, lack of appetite, fever, chills, and general weakness and discomfort.

Transmission - H1N1 flu spreads from pigs to humans when humans are close to infected pigs.

Swine flu is a form of influenza that started in pigs but can be caught by, and spread among, people. Swine flu is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza viruses. Outbreaks of swine flu happen often in pigs.

People do not normally get swine flu, though infections do occasionally happen. The normal type of flu ,usually called seasonal flu caused by an existing flu virus, is a common infection in the that usually occurs during the winter.

The single most effective way to stop or slow the spread of diseases such as swine flu is to prevent the spread of germs.

Diabetic Retinopathy.

Diabetic retinopathy is a possible complication of diabetes. Basically, diabetic retinopathy means that a blood clot develops in the eye's retina. The major concern with diabetic retinopathy is that it can lead to a permanent loss of vision.

What Are The Symptoms?
• Dots of blood floating in your line of vision
• Total vision loss

The frustrating part is that so many of these symptoms also occur in other eye conditions.
How Is Diabetic Retinopathy Detected?
• Vision check using an eye chart test.
• Physical eye inspection, usually conducted after the insertion of eye drops that help to widen your eyes.

Can Diabetic Retinopathy Be Treated?

Recent developments in laser technology have made it possible for diabetic retinopathy to be treated with focal laser treatment. So although diabetic retinopathy is often treatable, diabetes is another issue and requires ongoing treatment and care.

Diabetic retinopathy is the most common eye disease associated with diabetes and it's the leading cause of blindness in American adults, despite readily available and effective therapy, diabetic retinopathy is the leading cause of blindness among working age people. Diabetic retinopathy is one of the complications of diabetes, but with early detection and treatment, the risk of severe vision loss from diabetic retinopathy is small.

Diabetic retinopathy is a specific micro vascular complication of both insulin dependent (type1) and non insulin dependent (type 2) diabetes, and it is due to microangiopathy affecting the retinal precapillary arterioles, capillaries, and venules. According to the National Eye Institute, diabetic retinopathy is the leading cause of blindness in American adults. This disease is an abnormality of blood vessels which supply the retina, the layer lining the inside of the eye which acts like a film in a camera.

Over time, the resulting high levels of glucose in the blood can cause damage to nerves and blood vessels, including those of the eye. Without a retina, the eye cannot communicate with the brain, making vision impossible.

Routine eye exams by a licensed ophthalmologist will detect diabetic retinopathy during its early stages, when treatment is most effective; in addition, persons with diabetes should have a comprehensive dilated eye exam at least once a year.

Blurring of vision is the main symptom associated with diabetic retinopathy but this usually occurs when the disease is already well established, this symptom of diabetic retinopathy can blur or distort the images that the retina sends to the brain, though there is no pain, this severe form of diabetic retinopathy requires immediate medical attention. The symptom may be as subtle as a yawn or as dramatic as a feeling of imminent collapse.

Once retinopathy has developed, laser surgery is currently the mainstay of treatment, but with early detection and treatment, the risk of severe vision loss from diabetic retinopathy is small. In mild cases, treatment for diabetic retinopathy is not necessary.

The most common treatment for patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy is panretinal laser photocoagulation, and early detection and timely treatment of diabetic eye disease significantly reduces the risk of vision loss.
